Drivers Championship

As well as teams based championship, there is a Drivers Championship. This applies to anyone who participates in a Sydney Karting Series race, be they part of a team, driving as a casual race entrant or participating in one of our Corporate Day events.

The Drivers Championship uses a points scoring system where the top 15 drivers in each race score points. The difference however is that only a driver's best 4 races are counted towards their points tally in a season.
This means that people who compete in all races aren't given a significant advantage; they just have more attempts at posting their best 4 results. And this allows casuals the opportunity to do well, without having to commit as much as a team does.
