Points Scoring System

There are three ways to score points at each race event. In all cases points are awarded for both the Teams Championship and the Drivers Championship.

FINAL
The teams and individuals with the top 15 places in the final race at each event will be awarded points as follows:
1st - 20 pts
2nd - 16 pts
3rd - 14 pts
4th - 12 pts
5th - 11 pts
6th - 10 pts
7th - 9 pts
8th - 8 pts
9th - 7 pts
10th - 6 pts
11th - 5 pts
12th - 4 pts
13th - 3 pts
14th - 2 pts
15th - 1 pt

AFTER RACES 1-3
The teams and individuals which obtain the top 5 starting positions in the final race will be awarded points as follows:
1st - 5 pts
2nd - 4 pts
3rd - 3 pts
4th - 2 pts
5th - 1 pt

HOT LAP SESSION
The teams and individuals with the top 5 fastest times at the end of the 5 minute session will be awarded points as follows:
1st - 5 pts
2nd - 4 pts
3rd - 3 pts
4th - 2 pts
5th - 1 pt

At the Organisers' discretion, other points may be awarded to teams when special/unexpected circumstances arise. The scoring system is also subject to change without notice.
